Check out these pics I took of a lifted Dak QC.
The white one is my 3 month old next to his 1 year old. Is this what I am supposed to expect when mine get its first birthday ? (LOL)
Any way, this guy (Scott) designed and made his own kit for his 2000 QC. I thought I would put these pics up since this is probably the only lifted QC in the world (being no one is making lift kits yet).

You can find the pictures at

Roger,
What size suspension lift does that truck have?
Also, how wide are those 35's? I'm wondering if he's getting much rubbing on turns. If not, are those wheels pretty offset?

Thanks Roger...

Todd,

That top is the Leer 100XQ. Here's the brochure. I'm kinda leaning towards that one. But it looks like I'm gonna have to save up a little longer for it. I priced one today with a few extra options like the Yakima rack and a few more things and it came up to like $1,750 installed.

Steve o, Roger,

That cap does look excellent. I have the next one down, (I know you saw the pics), and while I'm happy with it, and new it was an excellent price-$850 for the cap, w/o the slider/Yakima;

This cap LOOKS awesome! They didn't even try to sell me one of those where I bought mine, and I had checked the web first also. It's alot more, but you get what you pay for.

Think twice before going with the Leer. I have the 100XQ and it looks nice, but hinges and latches are of marginal quality.

Oh by the way, that truck only looks like it has a body lift in it and I'm sure it's far from home made since I can think of 2 companies that make them for the dakota, ( not the newer ones with rack and pinion steering though, I'm not saying one couldn't be modified to work on a newer dakota), also their is a company that makes a suspension lift for the dakota including the quad cab, try looking in the off road board . The grille guard is part of the winch bumper it could be made by hanson-/www.hansonenterprise.com/dodge since their the only one's I know of that make a winch bumper for the dakota. as far as the wheels and tires they are goodyear MT's if they are 35's than they are 12.50" wide, the rims look like they are 8" but I'm just going by the picture.

steve 0,
Get a few shops bidding against each other. I got mine with the slider racks for $1300. As for the lift there used to be a guy on here who went by knobbyman he has a wicked Quad cab. I saw when I went down to ARK. Here’s his web. http://www.knobbyman.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index
