So thanks to the lovely conditions here in MI, and the fact that my apt. complex doesn't plow or salt as often as it should, my Dak hit some black ice and hit a parked car. Cracked turn signal, scratch on the bumper, and broken piece on the chrome grill. Anyone know where I can get a replacement grill for cheap? I'll tell ya what though, not only did I pound the other guys Grand Am, but I sent that into a Cavalier! Both cars sustained good damage, with my Dakota coming out with a few cuts and bruises, but nothing major. Love this truck!

Remind me to stay away from you. Trucks usually sustain less damage than cars. Ever seen a mustang rear end a ram? Best of luck with the repairs.

Well "golly", if you were halfway intelligent you would realize that it was an ACCIDENT. Not only that, but there's nothing anyone can do about it now. The new Ford F-150 sustains about $1500 worth of damage for a front end, 5mph accident. I'm just happy that Dodge's engineers made the truck the way they did so I only have to replace about $75 worth of parts instead of $1500. Oh, and by the way, I'm not sure which trailer park you live in, but here in MI it's against the law to drive without insurance but nice try!

Theirs no such thing as a accident, moron. you drove recklessly on an icey parking lot and recked two other vehicles.
You can blame everyone but yourself, most recklss morons do but in the end You were behind the wheel and YOU reeked two cars.
Ever herd of personal responcebility? Slow down before you murder someones child and spend the rest of your life getting @ss raped by some big boy in one of the many fine state prisons in MI.
I may live in a trailer but you live in an apartment which is a concrete stinkbox full of immigrents.

AJ, I picked up an aftermarket chrome grille for my 2000 Dak and never put it on, it's brand new. Paid $35 plus shipping for it, will sell it for $35 plus shipping from 89108 Las Vegas, NV.

Hey STS...there ARE such things as accidents, hence the term "accident". Tell me, what is the opposite of doing something on accident? Doing something on PURPOSE. He obviously didnt do it on purpose, so whether he was being reckless or not, it was still an accident. And by the way it sounds, it was sh!tty situation that would have been avoidable, but hard at the same time. You werent him, so dont judge.
By the way, learn how to spell. Especially if your trying to sound intelligent.

I can vouch for the horrid amounts of black ice
in MI these past few days. i drove from
pittsburgh to detroit on the 17th and as soon
as i got to MI, I-75 was one sheet of unsalted
black ice for miles. i saw two cars go flying
into the ditch before we all slowed to a 3mph
creep. i got off and made it home on
backroads, but the conditions were terrible for
any car. as i speak, there is serious black ice
in the parking lot of the compex i am staying
at.
i just hope AJ did the right thing and filed a
police report with the 2 cars owners so that
his insurance will pay for the parked cars.
even though MI has no fault collision
insurance, if your car is parked legallya nd
someone hits it, their insurance pays.

Hey Vince Knuxx I live in Toledo , the very last place you go through on I75 before going into Michigan and I travel I75 to Detriot DAILY, every morning and evening, and for some weird reason have absolutly no recall of the road conditions you state, yes there was a small bit of snow last week on the morning of the 17th but nothing that came close to what you claimed. Maybe if you learned how to drive, a light snow of less then 4 inches would not haver put you into the ditch!
