Ok, I've asked this question on this forum 3 times previously to no avail. So far every post I've put on here has been turned into some B/S post for the village jacka$$es to reply. All I want to know is about converting my V6 TB to a V8's. I want to know how it will affect the performance of my dakota. You can talk about hp and torque, or things technical like sort, but please leave out the story about your mother's second cousin's grandmother's unkle's truck. I've gotten enough of that info already. I'm not a genius when it comes to auto's, that's why I'm here. If I were, I'd probably be making a living with it. I'm also not a complete retard when it comes to them either. I would just like to know what it will do to my truck in hp and torque, and how that will affect my truck. I use my truck for every day driving with most of it on a hilly highway. But I do pull a boat on occasion, which I've done so without any problems. So based on my info in this post, can somebody please HELP me?
Any HELP would be appreciated,

it will help your hp and tq. the stock V6 is kinda cork on the motor. I have run a homebrew modified V6, magnum performance modified V6, and a stock V8 throttle body. Stock V8 was best top end but magnum performance was the best bottom end.

i have,nt done it,but others on here have and say
that you will loss some bottom end torque,but you,ll also gain some hp,mid to top end.
try hughes engines. com they have v8 tb and thier real good for info on intakes,cams,
performance if your not getting the info your
looking for on here.

I put a stock v8 tb on my truck and it helps the top end quite a bit, well worth the $$ IMO. I didnt notice any loss in low end power but my truck is a 4X4 so I never realy has any lower end power anyways.

I know that most of you do not know me, I mostly post under the audio part of these forums. But that Ben IS NOT ME!!!
I am not a total AZZHOLE! Hey Other Ben here is a clue, try to BE NICE when you ask for some help and say thank you even if you do not get the information that you wanted. People are not here to searve you and they post here on THEIR TIME, NOT YOURS. So at the very least you could be thankfull of people taking thire time to post something for you.
Anyway sorry for the long rant everyone but this other Ben has been going around the forums being an ass, and I would hate for people to confuse his buttheaded attatude for me. So I will start posting under Ben J. so there is no confusion.
