Hi guys ,I have a 2000 quad cab with a 4.7 auto. The fan works just fine and blows hot air but no matter where I direct to to go it comes out in the defrost duct all the time, once in a while I can get it through the dash vents a bit but I can never get it out by me feet at all, When it is cold it only comes out the defrost duct and when it warms up a bit I sometimes will come out the dash vents some.Has anyone had this problem, and had any luck with fixing it .I am not even sure where to start on trying to remedy this problem . I know on the 5.9's there is a vacuum check valve that is attached to the brake master cylinder, if it is blocked or malfunction. You will only get defrost.
