Is the SLT modle? I think its a deal for just over 30 grand.

But, I sought of like the GMC Envoy and Yukon XLT. Just depends what you want.

The top engine choice for the Durango is the 5.7 Hemi thats been detuned for 335 HP and 5 ftbls of toruqe. Why I don't know.

I would ask for the H.O 4.7 L.

STS it's spelled "TORQUE". What model Durango is it? SLT? Sport? R/T? The Durango deal sounds decent enough but I would check with KBB.COM to see what deal you are really getting. A brand new '03 Durango has a $4,500 factory incentive, where as yours technically is "used" and gets no incentive.
DO the math, you might be better off buying a new one rather than a demo.
Good luck!

You should be able to get a pretty fully loaded Durango for near mid 20s.

I am almost considering buying an older 99 soon.

Was it a SLT? Did it have the 4.7 or the 5.9? Is it 4x4? What trim level? Does it show wear or scratches? Tires? Interior scratches? Smoke smell? Any underbody scrapes? How many stone chips in the hood or on the bumper? Any paint or body work done? Was it a repair vehicle or worse...a lemon turn in?

Could be a lot of things that determine the cost of that Durango. Ask yourself why someone would drive a car for 3,000 miles and then sell it back to the dealer. Or if it was never sold, ask youself if you want a Test drive car that had the piss beat out of it by every joe shmoe that wanted to take it for a spin? Need more info!

You would be crazy to pay anything over 26,000 for it.

You should be able to get it cheaper, especially a demo. Are you sure it's an SLT+, or is it just an SLT with optional leather??
IF it is an SLT+, thats a really really low MSRP.
If MSRP is 36,500
Invoice is 34,000
After Rebate is 29,500. The "deal" you have is actually OVER invoice for a DEMO.... BAD!
You should get it at least $1000 back of invoice, because there's back-end money and hold back. So 33,000 minus rebate is $28,500. Good luck.
If you want to get good money for your trade in, sell it on your own. Otherwise prepare to bend over.

Check with KBB.com to find out what your trade is really worth - you're more likely to get that much if you know what it is.

Congrats.... there's an extra $1000 of back end money on the jeeps right now, plus there's more profit in them than the Dodges, so yeah, great deals out there.
you'll really enjoy the cherokee, especially if you got the 4.7HO :-)
