 Subject: hotwire a 91 v6 dakota

Hi,

I need to hotwire the ignition system on my 91 dakota v6 3.9l..2 wd.

I have an intermittent fault that causes it to loose spark...everytime i think i have found it..a couple months later it dies. I am sure it is spark.

can i run a hotwire, right from battery to coil etc to give ignition.
