Subject: Elite Customs Customer Service

I purchased an MBRP muffler from Elite Customs after reading multiple posts on this board about them. Well, they're customer service stinks to say the least. I ordered the muffler 3 and half weeks ago and still haven't received it. They don't return calls, never answer their phone or emails. I'll never buy another thing from them again. If I could get ahold of them, I'd tell them to cancel my order. I called MBRP since the muffler was coming from them, and they have no record of the order. Anyone know how to actually get ahold of someone at Elite or have had similar experiences with them?

Has your credit card been charged? If not I think you can probably get a hold of your crdit card company and tell them to with hold payment if it does happen.

Elitecustoms is a difficult company to get a hold of. I've sent them lots of random e-mails about different items and topics and never get responses back. I used to get response when they were premier-automottive.com. since the name change they are to busy I guess. There are always to sides to every story.

So now it's your turn. It's like the dinosaur's
and the tar pits. Sorry about that.
Those guys only work when they have the
money. The reason why MBRP does not have
the order is because Elite is probably COD, so
if he orders one, he has to pay for it. So he
does not order it, cause he has no money to
pay for it. That would be my guess.

P.S. If you paid for it with a credit card and not
a ATM card. Just call the credit card
company and get a charge back.

Thanks for the advise, and that's what I've gathered from looking at some other posts. I didn't realize there was a problem with Elite when I ordered the muffler Nov. 10. They of course charged my card right away, which unfortunately was a debit card.

Guess I get to wait and hope for the best now.

ALWAYS USE A CREDIT CARD!

I hope you get your muffler or your money back.

By the way, the thread you posted the URL to was not the only bad one about Elite Customs.

I am an MBRP dealer also and I have ordered and shipped atleast 3 exhaust systems from them since Nov 10th and all have been delivered within a week ro 10 days dependign on customs in NY

I did receive my muffler finally. They never answered any of the multiple calls or emails I sent, but I kept calling and finally go ahold of someone. He said he didn't know why it never shipped, but would call me back within the hour with an update. He did, and they had one it the mail that day. They took care of the problem, just not as they should have. Just keep calling until you get someone to answer, then don't hang up until you get some detailed info. They're customer service definitely sucks.

brent, thanks alot for the reply, that makes me feel alot better. i hated to think that they were taking me for a ride!!! i'll keep calling them. before talking to you i was considering taking a long weekend and driving out to IL to see these people. thanks again for the info

No problem, Shane. Hope you get your situation straightened out. Like I said, don't bother emailing them or leaving messages, because they do a good job of ignoring them. They are actually helpful if you get ahold of someone. Just don't hang up if they say they'll check into it, let them put you on hold. I think they must only be in the shop a limited # of hours a week. No excuse, but I think that's the case. I don't think they are trying to rob anyone intentionally, they are just too disorganized and don't have the time to devote to running a business correctly. Just my $0.02.

I certainly feel lucky. I bought some headers from them two weeks ago. Called - and left a vm. Dude calls me back on my cell and at work like 10min.s later. Very helpful people - from my experience anyway....

All I bought was a muffler because I was making a custom setup for a 5.9 Ram. Sounds sweet and I've gotten lots of compliments on it.
