Or go to Dave Smith in Kellog and get it FOR invoice :)

F*ck haggling anymore, their money is to be made in accessories and moving a lot of inventory.

Even selling at invoive the dealership still makes money on the holdback which is typically 3% of the MSRP and doesn't include destination charges or PDE. Not too many sales people sell at invoice because their commission is based on the price over invoice (POI) for which the vehicle was sold. It's hard to eat when you're working for free.

If you get to deal with the sales manager or dealer principles (very rare) you might get a vehicle for invoice, but not too many people work for free these days so don't count on getting a commisioned sales person to sell for invoice.

Another thing you have to factor in is how long the dealer has been sitting on the vehicle. The longer a vehicle sits on the lot the less the amount of the holdback is paid to the dealer. After 45days the holdback is cut to 1.5%. Remember that holdback is pure profit for the dealer so if you go in to haggle over a truck that's been sitting there for 2 months, don't expect to get too much. But, if you're ordering a truck from the factory, you have a lot of room to negotiate because the truck is coming in and going out so the dealer gets 100% of the holdback in their pocket.
