 Subject: need advice

Looking into buying a dakota and looking for advice. what should i look for when buying a used truck? kinda good mpg and some power for pulling things. thinking of a 99, 5.2, 4x4. also i was looking on autotrader and found one that i kinda like and it said it had a shell, what is that?

it's a camper shell...the thing that covers the bed and is as tall as the cab.

Your not going to get good gas mpg in a 4x4 dakota, especially with a 5.2L. I've heard Fullsize Rams get about the same mpg with V8's.
As far as the "shell", they could be talking about a bed cap.

I wouldnt buy a used dodge, unless it has really low miles and a clean history. No offense or anything, but I would save up for a new one over used.

They showed a picture and i couldnt tell if it had a bed cover or not that is why i was not sure. any ideas on mpg? 18 maybe?
