 Subject: auto shutdown fuse

The autoshutdown fuse in my son's truck blew today. after troubleshooting why he had no spark we replaced it with another 20 amp fuse and it blew right away. we put a 30 in there and were able to drive it home. other than energize the auto shutdown relay what does this fuse feed that could be bad and causing it to blow.
