Subject: U-joint & center bearing

OK,
I found the reason for the big vibration and clunk noise on my '93 2WD dakota 200K miles.
The front U-joint on the rear drive shaft is shot and the center bearing looks as if it should be replaced also.
I am looking forward to my weekend project replacing both components. The maintenence manual refers to an illistration photo that doesn't exist, explaining how to remove the center bearing. ?????
and is there any tricks to easely replace the U-joint bearings.

I just visited NAPA and they told me the 3 U-joints are all the same ?!?
I measured the out side cups and they are 3.1" (center) and 3.6" up at the tranny and back at the Diff. The ones they gave me are 3.26" for all three.
Am I correct in that they are wrong?
The center bearing looks good though.
