Now why would you say such a thing?
Actually, I've had people call me "McGeyver" for the mods and ideas I come up with.
So anyway, I am curious. What was it that I did that made you think of this?

What haven`t you done yet!

Between you messing with the IAT and the thermo-whatever thing I thought maybe you could come up with a resistor board for the TCM so the trans would shift better(less torque management)and not throw a code.

You have one week.

Damn. I been busy. I may go mess with this today.
Problem is, no one sells a Chiltons, etc for this truck yet so I can not CONFIRM that this wire they are disconnecting is correct.

Anyway, I have saved the info I found in that thread you linked and will go take a look under the hood of my truck.
If the info appears accurate I may try it. If it DOES WORK I allready have ideas spinning in my head.
One will be to mount a switch in the cab. Something you've seen in other cars like a "performance/comfort" switch for transmission shifting. It may be a good idea, especially when I am towing, to be able to switch it back to NORMAL mode.

I'll go look and of course, take some pics for ya.
Jeremiah sures seems to have me figured out allready. Now he knows how to push my buttons LOL!
Ok, I'm going to get out there and look here before my football game comes on.

Hey Jeremiah. Go check out the other thread.
I got some results. But it turns out the PCM in our 2003 models are different. They said theirs had three plugs. Ours has FOUR and no TCM looking thing.

I got some pics of the latest adventure over there.
