Well my Truck has the R/T wheels on it and I have No Problems I did proper research and took my time picking the proper tire size. Its the biggest improvement I ever did on my 92 Kota

Mine scraped on the front and rear of the upper controll arms, I had to grind the leading and trailing edges just to get the wheels to even rotate. the stock 255/55/17 tires rubed on the frame. Yours dont ?

Nope not anymore i down sized from a 255/55/17 to a 255/50/17 and the problem went away plus I did have to grind the Upper Control arm but since then I have lowered my Dakota with Bell Tech Spindles and didnt have to grind anything else. Even my 275/60/15 inchers rub on the frame rail too so its never bothered me a bit just at full lock thats all.

Hmm, looks like I might not be putting the 275's all around then. What kind of backspacing do you have on your wheels?

15X7? woah. Mine were 15x6. The reason I got new wheels is because I couldnt put the 275's on a 6 inch rim. Even 7 inch is pushing it. wow

I could try moving the rears up to the front to see how it works. It'll be funny driving with fatter tires up front. lol

The biggest setup I used on my '92 was 15x7 Centerline Sabers with 245/60/15. The tire would rub the rear inner fenderwell at steering lock. 15x8 with 255/60/15 in the back. I had 295/50/15 once, but the center tread wore too quickly.

To make gen 111 wheels fit on gen 11 trucks it is best to add a 1/2" wheel spacers and replace the wheel studs with longer ones. I have done this and installed 02 rims on my 91 which has also been treated to a 93 5.2 mag engine.
