I've just read all the threads about clear corners and still aren't sure of the difference between clear and diamond.
Which matches the stock headlight best?
Can you see the amber bulb in both? I'd rather not.
Anyone try led clear/amber bulbs?
Are APC the best?
Thanks...

APC?????????????

As in
American Products Company???

If so... they SUCK crap. It's all made in cheap labor companies like Taiwan! Yet they CALL themselves AMERICAN PRODUCTS CO. Nothing is American about it not even the RACING STICKERS plastered all over these econobox fart cans running our streets!

I wouldn't by anything from that company, they sell CRAP like STICKERS, LED lights for your winshield washers, STICKERS, gay light up stuff for your gear shifter, door hadles, valve covers, did I mention STICKERS???

PLease don't DISGRACE your MOPAR with anything from them!

LOL!!!

If you're not talking about THAT APC, then GOOD!

Just my .002 :-p

Thanks for your input GraphiteDak. You've obviously had a bad experience with APC.

I would still like to know about the diamond/clear difference before I order from somewhere.

I can offer valuable info on late model qc power moonroof, Edelbrock IAS, and flowmaster 70. All recent mods.

Thanks for any input...

i think the apc ones are the best on the market as they are the only ones with the D.O.T. aproval number stamped on them the cheap immitations dont .....apc are quite pricy ....but are a quality product ........i think the euro clears look good .....they are eaisy to install...........i tried the led lights by apc and the sucked in my opinion ....a stock replacement sylvania is much brighter....

I have APC clear corners, got them cheap on Ebay and they were new. One of them leaks though and I haven't had them very long, so that's a bummer. They do look good though. When it's dry out.

The clear lenses are those that look like your stock headlights and have the reflective texture in the lens. The diamond ones are those that have a the smooth clear lens that looks like glass. The reflective area is at the back of the assembly.
The regular clears will look better with your stock headlights in my opinion unless you get the diamond headlights to match the diamond corners.

Rockgod: How do you like the IAS shocks? I've got some on order, they've been hard to obtain. Glad to see some more Flow70's out there.

rockgod - i'd like to find out more about your moonroof ... i called around trying to find someone that would install one and came up empty ... did you have to cut the 'structural' member that runs across the cab? ... do u have any pics? did the 'ridges' on the top of the cab pose a problem for sealing? .... thanks in advance for your help.

Thank for all the info.

Motorsport, the IAS's are the best shocks I have ever bought. Got them in 2 days from Summit. Never had a bad experience with Summit!

JES, the sunroof is a skylite TS-33 and it is awsome! It is made to seal over the roof ridges and I routinely spray it at the quarter carwash and never a drop inside. They cut the roof brace but the sunroof attatches in all four corners and supposedly is even stronger than stock.

You can have closed headliner, closed glass, glass tiled up in back, or the hole thing completely open. The quadcab roof has plenty of room for the glass to hide.

The shop that did mine was Texas Auto Tops in Austin, TX 512.834.8783. They do incredible work and put sunroofs in lots of new dealer cars. They were putting an entire leather interior in a new Ram truck while I was there. The roof automatically closes when you turn off the key.

Installed price was $1,353.13. Righteous bucks to be sure...but worth every penny. You would swear it was factory installed with the switch neatly in the overhead console. I use it constantly. Hope all this helps.

My website's lights page shows the difference between clear, diamond clear, and euro clear corner lights. Most people buy their clear corners off of E-Bay or via the cheaper shops such as www.procarparts.com, etc.
