Glue window screen, or better yet, rivet some sheet metal to span the voids - then slather it with bondo. Use a sureform to plane it into rough shape before it completely hardens, then final sand and paint. Won't be perfect, but better than what you've got. You might have to build it up with multiple coats.

Oil eats rubber parts (softens them) use transmission fluid if you want to protect against rust that way.

Fiberglassing it would work too until the spring, then you may want to take the time to cut that out andput in some fresh metal

Well if you put the trim back on, wash the truck like twice a month, and during the winter months when the sand and salt is around, once a week, that way salt wont eat away at the metal. Also get a undercoating spray done professionally, that will greatly reduce the build up of future rust

well what i think sparked it was the screws holding the trim on rusted, and the fenders started rusing from there, so i may end up sing stainless srews when i put them back on and seal it up with some sealtent or something
and i am NOT paying anyone to do anything to it
the truck is 13 years old as it is, jsut need it to last a few more years till im out of school and get a job and i can get other means of transportation sop this can be my toy :-D

Sounds like

you'd better stop B.S.ing and get to it then ! "Put in" fresh metal - what, you're going to weld in replacement panels but you don't know how to finish it ?
