Ok I posted about the soft pedal recently, and now i have completely lost my brakes. the pedal just falls to the floor and the ABS and BRAKE light come on. Just curious where to start looking and what to do.

Been a ford owner all my life so this Dodge is new to me. 2000 4x4 3.9 sport.

thanks for any and all help.

Check under the body for any wet spot where the brake lines run. Could be as simple as a broke hose. If no leak can be found, try the master cylinder. Have you had anything done that could get a lot of air in the lines? Be sure to flush and bleed the system with new fluid. You need to change fluid about every 50k to keep it in top shape. Good luck.

Ok, if it was broke or leaking would the master cyclinder resevoir empty? Its completely full so Im curious. Also is the sensor in the differential ruled out by the pedal failing?

thanks again.

This may be a stupid idea, but anyway...
Did you check to see if the brake pedal is actually connected to the master cylinder? If that little rod is broken/disconnected, you would get no brakes.
If there is no fluid loss, you might have a bad master cylinder. It's just an idea off the top of my head. No brakes is a BAD THING.
