Subject: Camber on passenger side of 4x4?
IP: Logged

Message:
I've been noticing the passenger side tire on my new 4x4 QC didn't seem to be plum, especially compared to the driver side tire. I had thought it might be an optical illusion but I put a level on both tonight. Driver side perfect, passenger off at least 3/8" (top away from truck, positive camber I believe). Looking at other 4x4 Daks at work there seems to be several like that. Can it be corrected?

Yes it can. Take it to your local alignment shop to do it right. Camber for 2001 Dakota (all but RT) is -.25 degrees.

Thank you! Although I actually described it wrong. The wheel needs to come out at least 3/8 from the top to be plum! Right now it is negative camber.
