Ive been reading on the DML about guys having problems with water leaking into their cabs. I cant reply on the dml because for some reason, I cant send e mails.
Anyway, I used to drive a 92 GMC Sonoma with the same problem. After a rain storm, there would be a puddle on the driver side (by the pedals). I concentrated all of my efforts trying to find this leak under the dash for a year. Finally I ripped out the entire interior and ran a hose over the whole truck. Ended up being the rubber trim on the fixed rear window had a hairline microscopic crack in it...Turns out the water would seep in, run down the back wall and gravity would direct it to the front...fixed it with some black silicone. The moral is, dont concentrate all of you efforts to the spot that you find the water...could be coming from a totally different spot and finding its way somewhere else....Hope this helped..I know how frustrating it is...That truck smelled for years...

My '87 Dakota has a water leak problem too. Mine is on the passenger side and it collects on the rubber floor mats.(Thank God it doesn't hit the carpet). It does bother me and only happens after a rain strom. I just take out the floor mat and empty it. If anyone has had water to leak in the same spot, and fixed it, pass the solution along to me.

Thanks.

I own a (1999)1500 Dodge Ram, and I have had water coming in side during and afte rain storms . It sometimes gets puddled bother side of the floorboard around your feet. There are no visual, tale tale signs of its intrusion. I haven't dug into it yet simply because i have no clue where to start. The door jams are dry when you open the doors, the cargo light seems to be in tackt.

If someone has any info they could share I could use it.......

Water leaks in the passenger side of my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 club cab. I pulled up the carpet and I can see the water coming down between the plasic piece on top of the firewall/floorboard when it rains. This is all I know at this time. Is there anyone out there that could tell me where this leak is coming from?
