Subject: transmission flush

Hello everyone. I want to try a transmission flush.94 dakota,500 auto trans,3.9. Which line on the radiator do I disconnect for the fluid to drain.One on drivers side or passenger side.Transmission fluid capacity would be helpful to.Can't find it in manual.Use ATF-4 or amsoil?

Thank you very much.I have a repair manual,the info is not in it.The only place that has a transmission manual is the dealer,and they have to order it in.I was hoping to do the job on the long weekend,But thank you very much,a proper reply would have been helpful.

Thanks that was helpful,disconnect both lines on the radiator,watch for clean fluid coming out of the line. Will give this a try.

you want the return line whitch is on the driver side on the 94 dakota...i have one myself and have done it a few times at work...it makes the truck run and shift 50x better....just do it!!!
