Hello,
My idiot light for my cruise control has burned out. How difficult is it to replace? Is it hard to remove the dash trim to get to it? Also, is there an internet source to buy them? Thanks for your time.

Easy to replace. The entire instrument panel bezel needs to be removed, start at one corner and gently pry it out. The clips will release and the trim ring will come out. You'll probably have to disconnect the switch for the fog lights if you have them or from the dummy terminal if you don't. After that, its a simple matter of removing the screws that hold the instrument cluster in place and sliding the entire assembly out. If I remember correctly, it only has two large plugs on the rear of the cluster and those are permanently mounted in a fixed position. Identify which bulb is the cruise control and pop a new one in. Should be available at any auto parts store. I installed factory cruise in my truck after I bought it and installing the cruise bulb was part of the kit. The entire job should take no more then about 20 minutes.

Anyone know how I can get my cruise control to work? 2000 4x4 I don't have voltage at the switches at the steering wheel, under the air bag. Also can I unplug the air bag without any problems?
