This is my first time to this site, GREAT idea. Lots of usefull info here. but i gots problems with my 93 4x4 Dak. My transfercase (i think) is going out and making a "clunking" noise in 2H but can be avoided in 4H (but turning sucks). I have it rigged right now (drive in 4H with no front drive shaft).
Need help and also working on a short budget
any suggestions will help, Thanks

WELL, YOUR CHOICES ARE- junkyard transfer case $$? rebuild yourself (parts w/new chain about $250) or buy a reman/rebuilt unit (around $650-850) .....

I have a rebuilt one for sale for 400. It only has 400 miles on it. It was rebuilt at the local Transmission shop here in town. Email me for details

My transfercase is leaking really bad, and I am going to rebuild it, does any one know if it has gaskets, or just RVT?
