The clear plastic that covers the gauges on my 2000 dakota has a large crack going through it and its getting on my nerves was wondering where I could get a replacement.

Well I contacted my local dealer and they wanted $109!?!!?!?!?! for this little piece of plastic. This must be wrong I think he priced for the whole front dash part or something. Part number was 56020161 .

Try getting a used cluster off ebay. Looks like the front lens is attached with screws. Be careful not to tighten it down too much or you'll have a repeat.
Service parts get marked up huge by the supplier and then by Chrysler also.
