Subject: How to repair the bumper holes??

Message:
I took the front license plate mount off the front of my truck, and now I have 4 holes in the bumper where it was screwed in. How do I fix that?

weld, grind, sand, paint, sand, paint. Or drill them to a size that you can find some nice plugs that push in, if the bumper is painted I'm sure you could find some black snap in plugs, if its chrome, I don't know what to tell ya. Maybe JB weld would fill in the holes also, I dont have much experience with that stuff though.

I think he is talking about the lower valance.
it is plastic. you would need to fill with resin then sand and paint as jdllizard suggested.
I had mine painted to match my truck, and left the holes. (we have a front plate law here.)
I just painted some screws black and put them in the holes. It looks good and leaves me the ability to put the plate back if needed.
Good luck.

Thanks Jaggy. Yeah, I meant the lower valance. The screw idea is a good one, in case I decide to put a vanity plate on the front one day. THanks.

Sorry, Thought you were talking about metal, You'd think I would know what my trucks parts are made of. Jaggy's got a good idea with the screws, you can get those touch up paints to paint the screws if your truck is a factory color.
