I just bought a 98 with the small v-8 (5.2 I think) I do not tow or haul anything. The thing I would like to know is what I can do to get better gas milage out of this truck. I drive about 1 hour to work and really need to get something done about this. Thanks for the help!!!!

Replacing your factory air intake system with an aftermarket cold air intake (360 AirIntakez, K&N, Intense Performance, etc.) should improve your mileage, as well as horsepower.

If you get the tonneau cover get one of the solid ones, the vinyl ones have alot of flexing and may cancel out some of the benifits of the cover. I have a snap on one and it does increase the noise factor somewhat when the rear window is open.

I tried driving a Ford for a couple of months but that didn't work for me. I recommend you buy stock in a major oil company and then encourage everyone to drive a Dodge.
