If I gave a crap about toyotas I would be on a toyota site. My brother-in-law has one and it is so rusty that it is embarrassing. His good vehicle is a Durango.

Ok Dodge is no more import then GM, Ford or anyone else. The big differance is that they admit it. GM Companies Buick, Cadilac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, now this is American Saab , Saturn, Holden?? , Opel always was a fine car, Vauxhal British, Ford companies, Ford , Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda a true American car. Volvo, Jaguar British again. Land Rover, Aston Martin. Diamler Chrysler companies . Dodge , Chrysler, Jeep, Maybach ?? Gotta say I never heard of it. Mercedes Benz, Smart again?? Heavy trucks and buses Setra , Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star (also a hamberger at Hardees or Carls JR) Fuso, Mitsubishi, Hyundai (Korean)
So looks to me that they all are just as imported as the others. GM and Ford no longer build heavy trucks because they could not compete. any questions?? go look at thier websites

I currently have a 2001 dakota 4x4....it will be my last "american" truck. As soon as my warranty runs out in march I will have either a toyota truck or a toyota or honda car. I won't know what do do with all the free time i have since I won't be at the dealership every month getting something fixed

What the hell does the warranty running out have to do with buying a new vehicle ? sounds like a load of sht, it would make more sense to sell before the warranty is out.

My brother-in-law's toyota is a '94 4Runner. He still has it because his $30,000 tin can is now worthless. Myself, I would rather have to fix a few mechanical problems than have major rust problems. But hey, you are free to make your own choices just as the rest of us are. Drive what you like, you just don't need to go to a Dodge site to praise other brands. Nobody here really cares.

i like that statement,nobody here really cares.this is a dodge site talk about dodges!and why badmouth toyotas?theyre a great brand.hell,i own a '00 tacoma and an '02 r/t,both badass,in different ways.i wouldnt give either of them up for a chevy,ford,honda,whatever.and piss on hondas,except s2000,the rest are slow ricers!but hell,no one should even care about what i said,everyones entitled to their own dumbass opinion!

I have an extended warranty so the vehicle will still have 4 years of warranty after I get rid of it. I guess I'd rather have a dependable vehicle than something I'll have to fix every weekend. Then again, I wouldn't have to worry about a vehicle rusting anyway since I usually don't keep my vehicles longer than 5 years. Why should I have to waste my time to fix dodge's mistakes? And Im not talkin about the minor things, i don't mind fixing some things, but when I end up spending 2 weekends a month fixing their mistakes, that's ridiculous. Pretty bad when toyota is outselling the domestics and they really don't offer any rebates/incentives. I know in some regions they do, but nothing like the domestics

And I do like my truck. The looks are better than toyota's and the v8 is nice. But having a good looking v8 doesn't do me any good if it's not running and i'm having to pay for a rental vehicle out of my own pocket to get around because the local dealer takes 4 days to fix something that should've been fixed in 2 days
