I just picked up a 97 Dakota SLT with a 5.2Lt. It's got 90K on it and I got it for $8,500. I had to recharge the A/C and it needs new tires but the truck seems to be in good shape. Do you guys think this was a good deal? I also have a little slop in the steering, could this be an Idler Arm or something worse.
Thanks for any input

i bought a 97 5.2L 5spd reg cab dakota sport 2wd for $5,000 back in 2001 with 50k miles and flawless.
