Wow what a blackout. Everything is back up now. I tested the system and it looks to be ok. I had no power in my area all night so I'm still in the dark (shameless pun) about what they say caused this...

I now have to go to my other office and get those servers going.

I hope to get to bed sometime soon. haha. What a day.

Hey Mark,
I did not realize that you started a thread here so I started one on the OFF TOPIC BOARD.

BLACKOUT - Where were YOU when the Lights Went Out?

50 million people were affected ...
... so I am guessing that we could have a long thread.

Glad to hear that you guys up there are ok. It was such a massive disaster up there. I know a guy here in Fla who said his sister lives in Brooklyin. He was talking on the phone to her last night and at that very time she was watching the store at the corner getting robbed clean. I hope this didnt happen alot around you guys. Good to hear that all is well. Later

28 hours without electricity. Lines at the gas station were miles long in some instances. water pressure was low and cell phones didn't work. Things are much improved now. DTE energy started with 200,000 customers with power in the morning and had 1.1 million more up and running by 10 pm.
