Just wondering of anyone would be willing to run a Carfax report for me, I recently found a fan print in my radiator, and there are no V8 badges on the front quarter panels.

i took the emblemes off my 93 and when i installed my motor i put a couple dents in the rad with the fan too, accidents happen. When you started the carfax report did it say there is a problem history? A good way to check for accidents is to simply look at the door lines, and move the doors in and out, generally a truck in an accident always bends the frame even the slightest and that will move the doors around.

The driver side door leaks up near the roof, the bed doesnt line up with the cab too. Also, one quarter panel has a green under color, and the other one has a blue under color.

I don't know anything about CarFax, but it wouldn't show anything about a truck being wrecked unless it had been totaled out and re-titled as junk, right? Nobody tracks vehicles that have just been wrecked and then fixed, even if the wreck was serious but the vehicle not totaled out. Many years ago I totaled a car & the insurance company paid me book value less the salvage value. My brother and I fixed the car up so that it was drivable and passed inspection and we drove it for another 4 years. It never had a salvage title and I assume would never show up on a CarFax report (if such a thing existed way back then). Am I wrong?

if it drives straight, and strong, does it really matter. If you get into an accident in an older dakota(they are very strong) but lacking in safety features. As long as its looking ok and driving ok than its ok, because there aren't any safety feature that could be not workin properly.
