 Subject: HELP!! what subwoofer to choose

I have a sony xplod 1000w class d amplifier........heres my problem....it blew a pair of 12" cerwin vegas, so i then went out and bought some kicker compVr's, and it has blown them also, my question....is there a 12" subwoofer that can handle this amp or should I a.) sacrifice sound and turn down the amp or b.) should i upgrade to a bigger subwoofer.....and if so what speaker can handle a lot of continuous bass??? Please help

I believe you were right the first time with Cerwin Vega, only this time get the STROKERS!
