Any one with a Mag-hytec diff cover had any problems with oil leaks? I just go one of there covers. wile I was looking at it I noticed that they cut to wide around one of the bolt holes (cutting the O ring grove) and cut through to the oil cavity . So I call them and they acted like it was no big deal but they would take it back and hand pick a replacement for me. That is fine that there so help full but I need the cover for pulling a camper on VAC and I don't have the 2 week++ to ship it back and forth. the thing that really pisses me off is that there shipping them with problems that they know about. after spending $240.00 + shipping I don't appreciate getting something that they had a problem with but they don't won't to eat the cost of scraping them. They apparently don't think much of there customers . If I had it to do again I would get a PML cover there only $150.00 .

I just installed one on my '01 Dakota. It looked good, and the job went smoothly. No leaks at all.

I measured about 2 quarts of old lube came out, and I was able to put in just a tad over 4 quarts of Amsoil 75W-140. I threw in a few ounces of LS additive based on what I read on these forums, and everything has been great.

Bad luck dude. Mag-Hytec is awesome stuff. I've run their tranny pans and diff covers. Don't take it so hard. Sounds like they're being square with you.
