I ordered my 5.9, 4X4, QC the very last day you could order. I knew the hemi wasn't coming, however, there were rumblings about the HO 4.7, not that I would have wanted it, but it had greater appeal than the 4.7. I'm loving the 5.9, goes up every hill I feed it at 1500 to 1750 rpms in OD. Mileage has not gone below 15 for the first three tanks, and I haven't used it for any sustained trips yet, even a lot of moderately hard break in acceleration. I still don't like the tranny though, the other manufacturers have that beat hands down!
