 Subject: Window Handle

I have a 03 Dakota extended cab. The windows are manual (black plastic handles). I want to swap speakers but have one problem. I can’t get those handles off. I don’t see any screws. It looks to be one piece. Does anyone know how to take them off. Thanks in advance…..Larry

They will just pop off... they are a pressure fit. One of mine came off and I just pushed it back on and it was fine.

If they are like the genII, then they have a clip inside...but yeah, it's just pressure fit, so just push back on the panel and see if you see something..Hope that helps

There's a small clip behind the handle. If all else fails use a pair of needle nose pliers and push down on either side of the clip. It'll pop right off.

I got a tool from auto zone. It worked. Thanks for all of the info.....Larry
