Real quick question about tire sizes! What is the difference in these tires. I see a lot of people running this size! I dont want to low of a profile though because thats why I put the drop kit on it to reduce the wheel well gap!
Would the 275/40 series be much more of a lower profile for my R/T rims than the RSA's I have on now?

275/40/17 are 25.6" tall. Your R/T tires are 28" tall. So an inch and a half shorter.
You will have quite a bit of wheel gap, but the width on the tires makes your truck look pretty mean. Lots of tire on them.
Mine looked kinda weird at first, but I got used to it. I like being able to do a full turn with almost 11" wide tires.
People say the tires look really cool when I turn corners cause they really stick out, but there is still tire inside the fender.

you may look at 255/50-17
that's what i'm running on my R/T wheels
nice wide look and there is plenty of choices of tires

I don't know what I was thinking. TWO and a half inches is what I meant.
I actually do not have any pictures of my truck. I dont' have the availability of a digital anymore. Maybe I can find a friend with one this weekend..
