Message: Does anyone out there have any experience in "slotted" brake rotors? Are they worth the extra cost?
I have heard they aren't good for offroading because snow, dirt, mud, etc., is considered very abrasive and can get in there and cause problems. I dont know how true that is, but that is what I heard. Anybody ever use slotted rotors? Or any other kind of specialty rotor?
