ok well today i got a ticket for prohibited parking. $20.00....never gotten one of these before and have some questions...
-will this raise my insurance?
-can i just pay the fine and not go to the court date?

No Way Man your screwed!! Hey its all good just kidding anyways -no on the insurance - just pay the fine. insurance only goes up if you speed,stunt,crash etc. Most traffic violations can be paid and going to court is not necessary.So be cool man chill.

You shouldn't HAVE to go to court for a simple parking ticket. Unless it was for parking in a handicapped spot, but even then it would have been like $250.00 instead of $20.00, and Jack is right insurance companies only care about moving violations. Go to your state's DMV website and they should have a link to a violation section that describes your options.

DAMN!!! i got screwed.....no just kidding.. went and paid the thing and nothing happened. asked some friends and they said the same thing. thanks peace
