Go to wal-mart and by the round cyber-whites. They are only like 30 bucks and are bright as hell.

if you put anything from wal-mart on your truck you should hide your head in a hole. I know we are all on a budget here, but honestly save for just a bit longer and get some real ones. Dodge sells them for about 150, and they are designed specifically for you dakota.

I got the Wally - marts on mine and no I don't think they're glass but have held up just fine. The price was right so why spend the big bucks for the same effect?

I have a set of Pilot fog lights that work just fine on mine. They were only about 50 bucks at Autozone or Advanced Auto and I haven't had any of the cracking problems that the factory ones have. Good luck.

I had a set of Pilots on mine. They were decently bright but they cracked after two months. I have PIAA 510's on there now. Dumbass that I am, I got the yellow ones instead of the bright white ones. Oh well, the lens is clear so they do look good. I honestly don't think they throw as much light as the Pilots, but they do what foglights are supposed to do. Light immediately in front of and slightly off to the side of the vehicle.

What do you guys do to your fog lights? I have 16,000 miles on my 2002, and I have brighter Eaglite xeon lights, and mine are still not cracked or broken. I run them all the time at night 6 days a week, and most of the time anyway. Maybe I just got a good pair of lens. I do agree they look pretty cheap, though

Well I have decided to go ahead and hang my head and buy the so called cheaper fog lights from Walmart or Auto Zone. Both of my are cracked and my father just bought him a brand new 4x4 Dakota and one of his is already broke. I cant believe Dodge would even try to rape people for a $109.00 a light for such a peice of crap. But does anyone know how to or where to find a wiring diagram to wire after market fog lights to your factory switch? Any help would be great!! Thanks.

just remember that the factory lights get ground from the switch/relay . You have to isolate the mounting of the aftermarket lights.

98 Dakota 118,000 miles origanal fog lights, still working
