There is either SLT or sport. Slt is more luxury oriented, crome softer suspention, leather. The Sport is just that sporty. Stiffer suspention painted out grills cloth interior.

Leather is not included with the SLT package. It's an option for either the Sport or SLT pkg.

I wasn't aware of that difference either. Thought the suspension changes came in the tire/handling package (which is available in either the Sport or SLT models).

My understanding is the SLT package has partial chrome bumpers, SLT badges, and availabilty of two-tone paint. That's about it.

You guys are right on the suspention and leather. The SLT's do seem to be the truck the dealers add the leather and other goodies to on the lot however. It's a very classy looking buissnessmen truck IMHO. I guess nobody ever gets leather in the sport because it's more sport and beach oriented.

There are plenty of Sports running around with leather interior. I'm kickin' my butt that I didn't just bite the bullet and order it. It all comes down to personal preference. If you like the chrome bumper/grill and possibly two-tone paint - order the SLT. If you're like me and like the color matched grill and bumpers -- order the Sport. It all boils down to the "look" you're after.

The SLT includes cruise control too. I priced out a Sport vs an SLT and for the
options I wanted the STL was $130 cheaper because it included the A/C and cruise.
I actually like the look of the Sport better, but the SLT will have a higher re-sale
value since it has a higher MSRP to begin with.
Atleast bugs are easier to clean off a chrome bumper/grill

I was still waiting to hear if you got yours yet or not, Jonas. And, if so, what were your findings with it?

Anyone else have a Katzkin Leather interior?

They overnighted me one in the mail, I check it our...and man I wanted to just tear into it and install it then...but It was a plain Charcoal grey with rams headlogo kit, not that there is anything wrong with that I just have black with red inserts stamped into my mind as what I want. SO I kept it for about a day, and then sent it back and then ordered my Black and Red kit. It will be here first thing on tuesday morning. Over all this company really has outstanding prices, great quality, and unbelievable customer service. In fact even if you mess up the installation some how, and maybe tear something they will send you a replacement at no charge overnight, and you can return the bad piece at your leasure. Anyway I have a large sample of all of their leather, some of the colors are really cool too, they are so vibrant. And I have a sample of every logo they have, and anything you may want that they dont have that is text you can have custom done for free. I have spent a few hours actually talking on the phone to Mitch Katz (the president) and I now have a personal assistant, and personal technician to help only with this group buy. So Again...I really have to give this an A+++.

An interesting note, you can't get (or at least in 2002 you couldn't) leather interior in a regular cab, in any trim package.
