Hello there, Im just another 20 year old kid looking for a car Ill be happy with. I want something to go mudding in but primarily Ill need to be shipped around, and Im liking what I see about Dakotas...can anyone give me a few hints on the bigger bonuses or downfalls people have noticed about them? Any and all help is appreciated, Thanks! ~Sean

lets keep this simple. They are great trucks but like anything else, abuse it and it will abuse your wallet. No abuse here, 66000 miles, going strong. Simple
2002 QC 4x4 Sport Plus, 4.7L, auto, Patriot Blue, Tire & Handling group,

I think you know the Pros 4.7L v8 3.92 diff and you will be having quite a bit of fun. if off roading is your fix then get the reg cab short box to have the shorter wheel base.
My #1 suggestion is to upgrade the suspension,
I used rancho 9000 shocks but the 5000's are cheep and just as good (just not adjustable.)
I have a quad cab and have had it high centered one to many times.
