does anyone know why on the 2001 quad cab 3.9 there is not a red line on the tach.

That's odd...I only heard that it was missing from the 4.7L. Hehehe..guess DC forgot something. ;)
The redline on the 3.9L starts at 5100 (don't go higher than 5300 unless you've got roller rockers).

i thought it was missing, ive never seen a tach with out a red line. i olny have 2500 miles on it. ive been taking it easy so far. thanks.
