 Subject: driver's door hinge

after my acccident. (guy plowed into my drivers side fender) the drivers door became cracked along the inside where the door panels meet (by the hinge). and the hinge looked like it let go a little too.
before this happened i couldnt see the little wheels on the hinge through the crack between the door and the fender. but now i can.
took it to body shop where they automixed glued the two parts of the door together and layed a bead on the hinge. it moved the wheels back a little but not to where they where before.
whats the real fix and why is it like that now? any info would be great been to many shops and $$ but no one can fix or knows how it is supposd to look. help im going nuts!!
