maybe your torque averter or your tranny, or even your clutch is seizing , it puts your engine under pressure therefor, it stalls your engine

How many miles on the truck? Mileage on plugs? Try a bottle of STP concentrated injector cleaner (black bottle) in the gas tank (full). Minimal fuel delivery works until you give it gas, so your throttle body has carbon deposits, or it may be really old fuel filter. See how dirty the air filter and PCV are. All cheap, simple first steps.V-6 or V-8?

i'm having the same problem with my 93 dakota. i changed the fuel filter, new distributer, new coil, new wires, and new battery. and it still stalls like you said, at idle. i think after making all these changes it is the fuel injecters or some where in the fuel. anyone have any onther suggestions or help.

Yeah we replaced the fuel filter next we are gonna check the PCV valve fuel injectors ect. We took it to the local Dodge dealership and they could not "duplicate" our stalling problem. they found carbon in the oiil pan and all places dealing with oil so that might be a thought that the throttle body has carbon deposits. Thanks any more suggestions let me know

It may be your EGR valve. I had that problem but mine was the coil wire, it was lose.
