Subject: Torque on Ball Joint to A-Arm?
IP: Logged

Message:
I am in the middle of lifting my 97 dakota with a 3" FabTech liftkit. However, FabTech doesn't give any specs for how tight to torque down the four bolts that hold the ball joint to the upper a-arm. What should I use? While we're at it, I replaced the lower a-arms ball joints and can't find any torque settings for how tight to tighten the new one to the a-arms. Thanks for any/all info.

Put the box-end on it, and pull medium hard when
it tightens up.. That should be about right.
