I was driving my 99 Dakota(V-6) today & I stoped at a stop sign & took off & it felt like the transmission was slipping. i stoped at another stop sign & it did it again so I stoped & checked the transmission fluid & it was fine. I took of again & it quit doing it. But the check engine lite is on now. I would guess it;s a bad sensor. Does anyone have any idea which sensor it coulb be. Appricate any information.

Yea I went to the Auto Zone here by my house & they hooked up a dill to pull the code out & it saids that the output speed sensor on the transmission is bad. They can get the part for about $30.00. haven't replaced it yet. But I will this weekend.

I went to Autozone today as well. They didn't have anyone there that could hook it up. Going back tomorrow. Let me know how dificult it was to fix, and most of all DID IT WORK!!
Since I left work I have had no problems. Go figure!
