Subject: K&N filter only
IP: Logged

Message:
I get different opinions about this from auto parts stores.

I have a 2000 4.7 CC.
I dont race it, but do use it for towing a travel trailer. Other than that, only daily driving.

I am considering a K&N filter for just a little more power or mileage.
I am told sometimes that I cant put it in by itself without changing to dual exhaust. Some tell me that if too much air in and not enough of a way out will not be good.

Can I use a drop in filter without adding other things and will doing this even help me any at all?

Thanks

hahahahhahahahahahahhaa, what kind of idiots have you been talking to? of course you can just put in a K&N filter without any other mods. unless you are building an 8 second dak, theres no problem.

Me too, tows great. Don't look for a big gain here, but reusable filter will pay for itself over time.
