Do you have a 2000? If so your clock spring in the steering column may be broke. Has been a big problem on the 2000's. If it is the clock spring your horn and cruise control wont work either. Also means if you gewt in a wreck you airbag will not deploy. Had to get mine replaced. New it was getting ready to go and it actually broke one block from the dealership on the way there. Quick fix under warranty.

Weird. I gues it could syill be the clock spring. Maybe part of it is still making contact somewhere and that is why the horn works. Got me. Hopefully your dealer can get you in and get it checked out. Not only is it annoying but I just don't like the air bag not functioning. Partly for safety and partly for insurance reasons if you happened to get in a wreck! They can be picky about how they handle things if that bag doesnt deploy when it should. Been in 2 accidents in 2 years where mine deployed. Neither were my fault but the insurance comp. My ins. and the other guys both must have asked me a half dozen times if the bag deployed. Good luck and let us know what they find.

It was the clock spring that had broke

the airbag light had actually not went on all weekend but the cruise control did not work the entire time, and the horn never stopped working.

This was fixed ina bout two hours and under warranty over $200 if it was not covered
