I own a '87 and '97 Dak 4x4's, to add hooks to '87(or 88) I simply went to auto store and bought 2-black hooks/bolts and used existing holes(1-small,1-big needs big washers)in the main frame rails that extend up to the front bumper.I also had to cut the plastic splash shield for the hooks to stick out a little.No drilling required works great!The '97 is a different story, I have no idea how to add hooks to it, but I would like to.!?

Anyone know where I could get a set of front tow hooks for a 2000 Dakota, or how I could install them.....It would be so much easier to pull out people in chevy's and fords....

Dealer told me 136 bucks for front tow hooks, so I will be going to a local 4x4 store, the salesmen recomended to me. I'll let you know.
