 Subject: Dakota Motor Mount

I believe I broke my motor mount today. Does anyone know where I can get one other than the dealer. I would like a racing motor mount if at all possible.

No racing motor mounts available that I could find. I just bought a set of motor mounts for my '95 in prep for the 408 going in. I got them from the dealer. I know you can also get them from NAPA, but I'd be careful there. A friend had a 318 with headers. He replaced his motor mounts with NAPA mounts. The motor sat too low and the headers hit. He put a new set of MOPAR motor mounts in and everything was fine. I paid about $35 each for the MOPAR motor mounts.

I called Napa and they didnt carry them. The dealer I contacted said $42.50 but wouldnt give me a part number. He said they dont give out part numbers becuase then I could go to another dealer and shop around. It seems they know they are overpriced. haha. Thanks for your info. If the stock ones are good enough for a 408 then they are good enough for my puny 318 as it is now.
