I need a recommendation on a reputable Dodge dealer(s) in the metro Phoenix area, preferably on the east side. Any advice?

I dont think you have to many choices, Performance Dodge, or Earnhardts, they may be a couple others but these are the biggest.

Reputable??

Depends on what you expect from them...

Most dealers are only as reputable as you force them to be.

Go to Costco and get a Salesman through their Auto-buy program.

Most important characterization for a dealer is their service department - and it's hard to judge

unless someone tells you a personal account of a bad experience.

Well, I was looking for a dealer with a good service department. Someone who won't take me for a wild ride. Are there any left these days? This is for performing the scheduled maintenance, other than oil changes and replacing the plugs. How can I increase my knowledge a little so I won't be take had by the dealer's service dept? I was having some difficulties finding a Haynes or Chilton manual for a 2000 Dakota QC 4.7L.

Down here in Tucson - it appeared to me the Service Dept at the dealers were more interested in profit than a good customer relationship.

We have found good results with the Milex Auto service - and the Brake Max near us has some real sharp (and honest) guys we choose to do business with.

If you have recurring problems with your Dodge - then you should keep the Dealer in the loop - but our two Dodges have been almost maintenance free..

We constantly get these little reminders in the mail from the Dealer to come back and spend some money on oil changes etc.

I'm not having any problems yet, just wanted to find a reliable place to perform recommended service. This might be a moot point, since I might have to move to Austin, TX and begin the search all over again.
