 Subject: headlight problems

just last week when i started my truck up the headlights came on by there self for a few sec. then off and they keep on doing this and when you turn on the headlights they will flicker. I went to one dealer and they told me is was the TCM but when i fould the part and went to pick it up some where else they told me it was the multi-function switch or the headlight switch.
Just wonder if anyone else had this problem and could help me figure out the problem
