I have a 2000 3.9 dak and I just bought a 98 5.7 durango... and I was wondering if most things are the same (bumpers, hood, most things under the hood other than the engine and tranny of course).
Just wondering...

from the front doors forward, they are exactly the same. obviously you have a differant engine and trans, but the durango uses the same engine and trans offered in the dakota RT

i hear the front doors and forward are the same as the 4 door quad cab, not a reg cab dak. i never bothered to check but generally the frames differ for pacaging reasons.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that the Dakota is a pickup truck where as the Durango is an SUV. They also look diferent...

Whoh, I thought it was 5.7... I've seen RT durangos and thought that they had the 5.9, not a regular SLT... hum...
